What causes headache and migraine pains?

There could be several reasons that could trigger a headache or migraine. Some can be due to certain health conditions, genetic abnormalities, your posture, and even your lifestyle choices. Some causes could even be certain smells, Foods, bright lights, strenuous exercises, changes in your blood sugar level, sleeping with a bad pillow, not getting good sleep, and poor posture while at work.

In most cases headaches are not caused by underlying health issues or diseases. Muscle tension in your neck or upper back caused by poor posture, such as looking down at your phone too long (text neck), is a common cause headache and migraine pain amongst most people.

Such as jumping jacks, air squats, or just some push-ups can go a long way. Do a few ballistic stretches such as rotating your hips, swinging your arms across your chest, or leg swings. Try not to clench your teeth during any of your exercises. This could cause a lot of stress to the joints of your jaw which can lead to a headache. Also make sure you're drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Dehydration can be an immediate cause headache a migraine pain.
